About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation from an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care through supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

This is a 0.8 FTE Recovery Room (PACU) role on a PM shift, with Monday–Friday shifts starting at 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. The role includes a weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation, and the RN must be able to respond within 45 minutes while on call. The first two weeks of employment require availability for Nursing Orientation during the day shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program; other nursing degrees may be considered individually.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification or eligibility to complete it within three months of hire.
• Relevant medical/surgical experience.
• Ability to respond within 45 minutes when on call.
• Availability for Nursing Orientation during the day shift for the first two weeks of employment.

Nice To Haves
