About The Position

Texas Health Plano is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for Full Time opportunities within their Float Pool Department. This virtual hiring event offers a chance to work in a variety of units within a Level II Trauma, four-time Magnet Designated Facility. The Float Pool RNs will have the opportunity to float to multiple departments throughout the hospital, offering diverse experience. The department highlights include self-scheduling for work/life balance, opportunities for educational and career growth, an engaged leadership team, and working within a facility recognized for its advanced care in areas like the DFW area's only AACN Beacon Gold Adult Intensive Care Unit.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in PCU, Stepdown, and Telemetry as a RN strongly preferred
