About The Position

The PRN Registered Nurse at HOMECARE COMPANY OF TENNESSEE LLC will provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to established healthcare standards. This part-time position is designed to offer flexible scheduling while maintaining high-quality patient care. NEW PRN POOL NEW PRN RATES $50/HR PLUS TRAVEL INCREASE IF DRIVING MORE THAN AN HOUR.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in home healthcare or a similar setting.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare-related technology.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments within the homecare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in providing patient care and managing patient treatment plans in a homecare environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, providing critical care as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional nursing practice and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
