About The Position

JOB PURPOSE: The Registered Nurse (RN) is in a leadership and educator role, providing both patient care and education to direct reports, including researching, training, guiding, and providing instruction to any direct reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis. Provides a safe environment for patients and employees through identifying/correcting/reporting health and safety hazards. Cooperates with distribution of resources to maintain a therapeutic environment. Maintains interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and co-workers. Accountable for nursing practice through planned and continuous professional growth and development. Uses knowledge and judgement needed to meet the nursing needs of patient. Serves in a leadership role through clinical practice, supervision, teaching and research. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Required Skills for this position are but not limited to: Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written, oral, and communication skill.
• The ability to adapt to new software, equipment, and tasks that take place daily.

• Creating a Safe, Effective Environment.
• Infection Control.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• BLS or CPR required.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of how a medical office runs.
• At least one year of experience working in the medical field would be preferred but not required.
