About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) at Meade District Hospital, Meade, KS. This is a Full-Time position. The role provides direct patient care, supports providers, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. Occasional charge nurse duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; must have passed NCLEX
- Current Kansas RN license
- 30 CEUs every two years
- Current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (or willingness to renew within 3 months)
- CPR certification every 2 years
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, patient-centered care
- Follow policies, safety practices, and infection control standards
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes
- Assist providers with exams and procedures
- Complete accurate patient documentation
- Administer medications
- Perform patient assessments
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and IAs
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Complete other duties as assigned
