About The Position

We are hiring a Part Time RN for our Mission Farms Walk-In/Urgent Care Clinic! This position is part-time, working 24 hours per week. The shift is 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM, working every third weekend. In an Urgent Care clinic setting, the RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. The role involves scheduling emergent need patient appointments, identifying learning needs for patients and families, providing advice and recommendations, inserting intravenous access with medication administration, and performing other duties as assigned based on clinic need. The RN will delegate tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and Scope of Practice. This role serves as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. The RN will also enter admission orders as directed by a provider and be responsible for managing expired samples. The position requires the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously, with excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times. The RN may also be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.

Requirements

  • MO and KS RN license required
  • BLS required
  • Associate Degree
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
