About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Department. The role involves delivering patient care within a collaborative, patient-centered environment and working with medical professionals. Nurses on the unit develop skills in assessment, comprehensive care, and critical thinking, supported by a culture of teamwork. This is a full-time night position, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The employer seeks at least one year of RN experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) required; a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates without this qualification may be considered with more than two years of acute-care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional advanced life-support certifications may be required depending on unit or department specialty and patient-care policies.
