Registered Nurse (NHHI Gainesville Office Only)
About The Position
The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The nurse manages care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Professional nursing practice reflects collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. This position is for Northside Hospital’s NHHI Gainesville location at 1276 Jesse Jewell Parkway SE, Gainesville, GA 30501. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; weekends and on-call work are not required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Certified in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Responsibilities

- Provide care within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Manage care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital’s philosophy and policies.
