About The Position
Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and maintains patients' medical records on observations. May assist the physician during patient treatment and examination. Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions, and patient education. The position is based at the Heart and Vascular Center in Sharon Road, Beaver, Pennsylvania. Work hours are Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with no weekends or major holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
- Current Pennsylvania licensure, with other state licensure as required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Successfully complete applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
- For Cardiology/CVTS: ACLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
- ACLS.
