Registered Nurse-Emergency Department
About The Position
The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver and member of a multidisciplinary health care team. The nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame and supervises and provides care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self. The nurse follows established policies and procedures, communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors, provides excellent customer service when working with staff, management, and physicians, and applies Cooper core values. Other duties may be required. This is a full-time night position working 36 hours per week from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. The salary range is $48.72 to $73.64.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers).
Nice To Haves
- Certain specialties may require advanced certification, such as ACLS, NALS, or PALS.
