About The Position

Saint Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department team. The role works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment and provides care across all levels of acuity. The nurse is expected to keep the patient experience at the forefront and provide proactive, exceptional patient care in a collaborative team environment. This is a part-time night position with a shift of 1845–0715.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Associate degree.
• Less than one year of applicable experience is listed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and be accountable for its application.
• Provide patient care, delegate patient-care tasks, and supervise other patient-care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the health-care team when indicated to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
