Registered Nurse - ER
About The Position
Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Department (ED) at an acute care hospital. The position has variable 12-hour shifts, with start times of 1500 or 1900. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. The facility may call off the nurse once per two-week pay period. The role does not require on-call work or floating between like units. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The hospital has 200 staffed beds, uses Epic for charting, and provides free parking. RN staff wear solid royal blue scrubs. A winter bill rate increase applies from October 4, 2026, through February 27, 2027; after that date, the bill rate returns to the standard rate. Cancellations due to the rate change after signing will result in a systemwide Do Not Return (DNR).
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Current ACLS, BCLA, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Time-off requests must be included at the time of submission.
