Registered Nurse - Cardiology
About The Position
Hamilton Cardiology Associates, a busy private cardiology practice in Mercer County, New Jersey, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its team. The practice is staffed by cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, certified technologists, and other personnel who work together to serve patients. Its mission is to provide high-quality, accessible medical care, including preventive and educational services. The role may be full-time or part-time. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, with schedules that may vary between 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., including a 30-minute paid lunch. Part-time days are negotiable, with the same listed schedule options. Full-time employees receive three weeks of vacation, five personal/sick days, and three CME days with compensation; these are prorated for part-time employees.
Requirements
- Telemetry and critical care experience.
- Proficiency navigating and documenting in electronic medical records.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer stress tests and monitor patients during testing; training will be provided.
- Triage patients, take patient histories, and collaborate with physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their family members.
