Registered Nurse - Cardiology
About The Position
Hamilton Cardiology Associates, a full-service private cardiology practice in Mercer County, New Jersey, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its team. The nurse will administer stress tests and monitor patients during testing, with training provided. The role also includes patient triage, taking patient histories, collaborating with physicians, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing education and emotional support to patients and their families. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, with schedules varying between 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; both schedules include a 30-minute paid lunch. Part-time days are negotiable, with the same stated schedule options. Full-time employees receive three weeks of vacation, five personal/sick days, and three CME days with compensation; these benefits are prorated for part-time employees.
Requirements
- Telemetry and critical care experience are required.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record navigation and documentation is required.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
