About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The RN provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revising care plans when a patient’s condition changes. The RN also provides clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Ability to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Provide care and services that support patients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
• Revise care plans based on changes in patients’ conditions.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Benefits

• $3,500 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time new hires starting on the 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shift.
