About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team in Sarasota, FL. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in surgical or ambulatory care settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care to patients in the ASC setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
• Assist physicians and surgical staff during procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
