About The Position

The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process while providing a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates. The nurse practices according to established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, and Powers Health policies and procedures. The role supports Powers Health’s mission and philosophy by providing high-quality, cost-efficient care and promoting the well-being of the community. The RN serves the needs of all people and demonstrates the values of dignity, compassionate care, community, quality, and stewardship.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System’s Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
• Obtain and maintain current certification as required in specialty areas.
• Obtain and maintain current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
