About The Position

Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. The position is in the Orthopedics Surgical department and is full-time nights.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
• For new hires after 2012, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required within the timeframe specified in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR.
• FL RN: Florida Registered Nurse License.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in a nursing specialty area.
• BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
