As our Registered Nurse (RN), you'll have the opportunity to provide integrated nursing care in a community behavioral health setting, work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, build meaningful relationships with clients and support their recovery journey, utilize both your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills every day, help improve health outcomes through education, coordination, and advocacy, and work in a mission-driven environment where your contributions matter.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Valid Montana driver's license, personal vehicle, and current insurance coverage
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
  • Must pass Background Checks and Motor Vehicle Record Checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, community health, or outpatient healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of psychiatric medications and behavioral health conditions
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR)
  • Experience providing patient education and care coordination services

Responsibilities

  • Conducting nursing assessments, health screenings, and obtaining vital signs
  • Monitoring client health status and identifying medical concerns requiring follow-up
  • Performing medication reconciliation, monitoring, and client education
  • Reviewing laboratory results and coordinating appropriate follow-up care
  • Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary treatment teams to support client treatment goals
  • Educating clients and families regarding medications, health conditions, and wellness strategies
  • Supporting crisis response and clinical triage efforts as needed
  • Completing timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
  • Conducting visits to residential settings and other program locations as needed
  • Promoting a safe, welcoming, and recovery-oriented environment for clients and families
