About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide healthcare services at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle, Indiana. The RN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. This is a full-time, 12-hour night-shift position. The listed pay range is $38–$49 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
