About The Position

Vi at Bentley Village is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Skilled Nursing unit. This is a part-time position offering 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing superior care to assigned residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation of administered treatments, and quality assurance/performance improvement activities. This role also involves supervising staff and building relationships with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing.
Working knowledge of long-term care.
Current CPR certification as approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current First Aid certification or willingness to become First Aid certified.
Maintenance of a courteous and professional manner through interactions with others.
Use of a resident and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting.
Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.
Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly is preferred.

Responsibilities
