About The Position
Torrance Memorial Medical Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join its fast-paced Emergency Department. The RN collaborates with experienced clinicians to provide patient-focused, whole-person care and contributes to delivering high-quality healthcare with a human connection. Torrance Memorial is a nationally recognized nonprofit community hospital and part of the Cedars-Sinai Health System. Its nursing program has Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Emergency Department team is described as collaborative, skilled, and committed to exceptional community care, continuous learning, and professional development.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
- At least one year of Emergency Room Department experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- ENPC or EDAP must be completed within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- National Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or a related specialty upon hire.
