About The Position

ChristianaCare’s Union Hospital Emergency Department on the Cecil Campus is a 27-bed, community-based emergency department in Cecil County, Maryland. The department seeks a flexible, team-oriented Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn. The successful candidate will be comfortable caring for patients of all ages and populations and will work closely with providers to deliver high-quality care and promote patient safety.

This part-time position is scheduled for two shifts per week, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Weekend and holiday requirements follow hospital practice.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Associate degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Flexibility and a team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and caring for patients of all ages and populations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Acute care experience.
• ACLS and PALS certifications; these must be obtained within one year of service.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
