About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Atrium Health Lake Norman. The PCU is a 13-bed unit co-located with an 8-bed ICU, providing a collaborative and dynamic environment. This low-to-moderate acuity PCU specializes in caring for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The team works closely with physicians from multiple specialties to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing unit and help shape its culture.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS are required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

2 years of PCU experience preferred

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
