About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and professional PRN Registered Nurse to join its well-established multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Bloomington, Southern Indiana. The center cares for patients across multiple surgical specialties, offering a varied clinical environment with diverse patients, procedures, and situations. The RN will work with an experienced and supportive healthcare team in a professional, patient-centered setting. This is a predictable day-shift role with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements. The ideal candidate has at least one year of pre-operative or post-operative nursing experience; ICU or Emergency Department experience may also be considered.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program required. Candidates without graduation from a nationally accredited program may be considered with more than two years of acute care experience, subject to Chief Nursing Officer review and approval.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required according to unit or department specialty and patient care policies.
• At least one year of pre-operative or post-operative nursing experience is preferred for the ideal candidate; ICU or Emergency Department experience will also be considered.

Nice To Haves
