About The Position

The Registered Nurse position will work 1 shift per week in the ICU and 2 shifts per week in MedSurg, providing flexibility and experience across both units. The primary shift is 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, with a combination of 12- and 8-hour shifts as needed. This position includes every third weekend and holiday rotation. The RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring safety, collaboration, and professionalism across all aspects of patient treatment. We’re excited to offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus for this position.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Ohio RN license required
  • ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
  • Ability to recognize and interpret electrocardiographic information
  • Knowledge and experience managing ventilator patients
  • Skilled in assisting with invasive procedures and setting up necessary equipment
  • Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong communication skills
  • Independent thinker with a commitment to teamwork, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of hospital critical care and/or emergency department experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients and assist in other departments as needed
  • Assess patient needs, plan and coordinate individualized care, and evaluate treatment outcomes
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
  • Adhere to all nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote patient advocacy, safety, and improved health outcomes through evidence-based care
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism and teamwork within the unit
