Registered Nurse - ED - Emergency Department
About The Position
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The assignment starts November 30, 2026, and offers estimated weekly pay of $2,977 for 48 hours per week. The schedule is four 12-hour night shifts, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The nurse will care for adult emergency department patients, including STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma patients. The unit sees approximately 170 visits per day and has 53 rooms/beds. Patient ratios are 3:1 for non-critical patients, increasing to 4:1 with hallway patients when callouts cannot be covered; 2:1 for critical patients; and 5:1 for medical boarders in the ED. There is no call requirement and no floating requirement. Every other weekend is required. Nurses use Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR, and wear navy blue scrubs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Required skills: IV start, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
- Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, BLS, and PALS.
- Every other weekend availability is required.
Nice To Haves
- Trauma experience is preferred.
- ENPC is a preferred skill.
Responsibilities
