About The Position

Christ Health Center is hiring a Primary Care Clinic Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for patients with primary care medical conditions at its medical clinics. The position reports directly to the Nursing Director on job duties, performance evaluations, leave approvals, and other assignments deemed necessary for the benefit of Christ Health Center. The role has no supervisory responsibilities. The stated salary range is $60,000–$73,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
Current RN license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-direct with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a multicultural setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish.
Current CPR certification.
Experience in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating overall nursing care for patients.
Administer medications and assist with procedures.
Complete patient histories and disability forms, DME requests, and prior authorizations.
Assist with procurement and storage of clinical supplies, medications, and vaccines.
Use Telephone Triage Protocols for Nurses as a guide for clinical advice and defer to a provider when answers are unclear.
Recognize the needs and concerns of people within their cultural framework and maintain constructive relationships with them.
Maintain a positive image and relationships by understanding Christ Health Center’s relationship with the community.
Attend and participate in staff in-service education, quality assurance, and risk-management programs.
Participate in the patient care team and daily huddle when deemed necessary by the Core Care Team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
