We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric CVICU team at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Our Pediatric CVICU features advanced monitoring and treatment technologies, and is staffed by congenital cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care physicians, hospitalists and critical care nurses. As an RN in the Pediatric CVICU, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide patient care to pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process. Administer medications per hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with others. This position is designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment. Requirements
- 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
- Hospital Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
