About The Position

The Registered Nurse/Operating Room position is in the surgery department and includes work across Pre/Post-op, circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy. The nurse may float between units. Specialties include OB/GYN, orthopedics, GI, ENT, pain, and dental. The position uses Epic as its electronic medical record system.

This is typically a five-day-per-week position with eight-hour shifts. Four days per week with ten-hour shifts may be possible. The nurse is required to take variable on-call shifts on weekends and nights, approximately eight shifts per month, and work every third or fourth weekend depending on the rotation and time-off requests. Patient ratios listed are 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse for operating room/surgery department work.
• Ability to work across Pre/Post-op, circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy areas.
• Ability to participate in weekend and night on-call shifts.
• Ability to work every third or fourth weekend.
