About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) - Level 1 Trauma Center. This is a full-time night shift position, 7p - 7a. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates. The Norfolk General Hospital's Emergency Department is a 53-bed unit equipped to handle a variety of medical emergencies, with approximately 10% being trauma-related. The department has received the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses' Association for exceptional leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital, a 525-bed medical center, and a primary teaching facility with the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center within a 126-mile region. The facility includes four intensive care units and two intensive care units in its 112-bed Nationally Ranked Heart Hospital.
