About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients, matching patient needs with the nurse’s competencies. The nurse completes established position competencies within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned. This is a new graduate Registered Nurse position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Proficiency using computer software, including electronic patient records.
Possession of a current Nurse Permit.
Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification from ARC or AHA upon hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS is required within 60 days of hire.
Additional certifications or courses—including ACLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention—are required depending on the department hired; applicable STAFF RN job descriptions specify requirements and grace periods.
