About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is responsible for performing inpatient treatment, psychiatric stabilization, and medical detoxification for individuals with substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses, for ongoing community-based treatment and recovery. The Registered Nurse develops nursing care plans based on diagnosis, identified patient problems, and independently carries out the nursing process. This position provides direct patient care such as monitoring physical status, vital signs, nurse triage assessments and monitoring patients for physical and psychological changes. They will administer medication and collaborate with the Treatment Team to access patient needs and responses to treatment.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Ability to independently plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Knowledge of medications and the physiological effect of those medications.
• Ability to communicate information in a concise and descriptive manner, verbally, written, or by demonstration.
• Ability to appropriately respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Shift Premiums for 12-Hour Shifts: Evenings/Night (6:45pm - 7:15am): Monday - Friday 20%, Saturday and Sunday 30%
• Sign-on bonus of $10,000 may be offered
