REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - CRITICAL CARE STEPDOWN
About The Position
Texoma Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Critical Care Stepdown unit. The role provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, while offering professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-centered care and service excellence guide nursing practice, with professional nursing standards providing the framework for safe and competent care. This is a full-time position with full benefits and a flexible schedule; overtime and opportunities to cover various shifts are available for interested nurses. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. The main campus is in Denison, Texas, and the organization offers services including open heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care. Requirements
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year of full-time experience in an acute care setting.
- RQI BLS and ACLS required.
- Complete the BLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required ECC Healthcare Provider courses before working in a clinical setting; these courses are provided during new-hire orientation or upon transfer.
- Successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility.
- Ability to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
