About The Position

Join Baylor University Medical Center (aka BUMC) as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Our Oncology units are fast paced units that include high acuity patients. Our Oncology leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building each team member. The patient population is Urgent care/ED with 24 beds in single patient rooms. Dedicated to celebrating and supporting each other and our patients, our Oncology Units have Pharmacists located in the unit to partner with nurses in patient care, a dedicated Palliative Care Team, a Multidisciplinary Team that works together and Manager & Supervisor here to support and encourage your growth. Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • 1 year of RN experience in ER or urgent care
  • RN – Registered Nurse license
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in an urgent care/ED setting within an Oncology unit.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists and palliative care specialists.
  • Support learning, mentoring, and professional growth within the team.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
