About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Acute Rehab Med Surg department at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. The position is full-time, working nights. The nurse will leverage over 1 year of experience in a pediatric acute care hospital setting to deliver specialized, age-appropriate care. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, executing physician and nursing orders, implementing and managing patient care plans, tracking and documenting patient conditions, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care and discharge planning.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
1 year experience in a pediatric acute care hospital setting.
Must have hospital experience.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities
