About The Position
MercyOne Genesis serves a 17-county bi-state region of the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Ill.) metropolitan area and the surrounding communities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. As a Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Care Center, you will provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adolescent through aging patients undergoing cancer treatment and/or hospital-based procedures. Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice; management of pain, symptoms associated with treatment and illness, and quality of life adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA; and active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in Illinois
- Registered Nurse in Iowa within 1 year
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Responsibilities
