About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role utilizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The Ambulatory Surgery Facility is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center featuring eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, along with 32 beds dedicated to preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care. Services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery. In the OR and PreOp/PACU, RNs lead with compassion, providing top-tier care in an ambulatory setting where patients and families are always at the heart of everything we do.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in PreOp/PACU setting required.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Two years of acute care experience required for clinics.
  • Prefer acute care experience within the last 10 years.
