About The Position

Powers Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Hybrid OR at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana. The role is scheduled for day shifts and includes call. The Hybrid Endovascular team provides peri-operative care to endovascular and surgical patients, primarily in neuro-endovascular, structural heart, and peripheral vascular services, with a significant focus on the Acute Stroke and TAVR programs. The Registered Nurse works as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team. The role requires knowledge to prepare and maintain a safe, sterile environment; assess patients’ health needs; and implement and evaluate care in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Care. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned and supports the well-being of the community by serving all people and demonstrating dignity, compassionate care, community, quality, and stewardship. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Indiana.
Current BCLS certification.
Current ACLS certification, or obtain ACLS certification within one year from the date of hire.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of work experience in a procedural area such as Cath Lab, IR, or EP is preferred.
