About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Heart and Vascular Step-Down unit at its Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, a Level II Trauma Center. The position provides specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions who have stabilized after spending time in the CVICU and are transitioning to the step-down unit. The nurse provides patient-centered care, performs hands-on procedures, and educates patients to support their wellness and recovery. The role is part of a close-knit, growth-oriented team with supportive leadership and opportunities for professional growth. The position is full-time and has a 12-hour night shift. The work location is the Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Road. Sign-on bonus and relocation incentives are available. Requirements

Idaho or multistate RN license; if applicable, establish Idaho residency within six months.
BLS certification.
ACLS and PALS certifications within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including patients transitioning from the CVICU.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and perform necessary procedures to support optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transitions.
