About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for Emergency Services in Lewiston, Maine, for night shifts on a 12-week assignment. The role oversees emergency department operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. The nurse manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments; supports staff development; assists with performance management and HR-related activities; and maintains unit supplies, equipment, and readiness. The role also coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges, responds to patient care concerns, rounds with patients and families, and provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels. Requirements

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital emergency department setting; the posting gives both a minimum of one year and a minimum of 6 months to 1 year.
