About The Position

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Dialysis Satellite Unit in Stratford, ON. HPHA is a multi-site organization committed to proactive change, partnerships, performance, and valuing its people. This role is a full-time position within the Dialysis Satellite Unit at Stratford General Hospital.

Requirements

  • Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BLS certificate for Healthcare Providers course: BLS-HCP(C)
  • Minimum 2 years recent Hemodialysis nursing experience required
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical skills
  • Demonstrated independence in clinical practice
  • Demonstrates commitment to self-education (formal and informal)
  • Previous experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective conflict identification and resolution skills
  • Demonstrate behaviors supporting our Core Values of Compassion, Accountability and Integrity
  • Demonstrated well-developed patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient family centered care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at HPHA
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
