About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care based on the nursing process during assigned work periods. The RN works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care and participates in activities that support clinical, financial, and organizational outcomes. Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and social, behavioral, and biological sciences, normally acquired through an approved nursing program.
• Ability to provide age- and culturally specific care to the population served.
• Ability to analyze data, synthesize and summarize information, and make judgments regarding patient care.
• Related experience and qualifications may be required for specialty areas.

Nice To Haves

• BSN strongly preferred.
• ACLS or PALS may be required by some departments.
