This RN role supports a well-established Primary Care clinic with a collaborative care team that includes 12 providers, 12 Medical Assistants, 6 nurses, and 4 Registration Specialists. The role is based on site at Saxony Medical Office building in Fishers. Primary responsibilities include triage support, management of clinical and refill pool messages, conducting nurse visits, and providing patient education. This clinic is known for its longevity and strong staff retention, fostering a positive, supportive environment that reflects IU Health’s Core Values. Triage and Pediatric experience preferred. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This position will be hybrid, allowing work between home and the office. No weekends! No Holidays!

Requirements

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • One year of RN experience
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
  • Requires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Triage and Pediatric experience preferred.
