About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Registered Nurse for an after-hours role supporting a growing service line. This position offers flexible coverage between 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM, involving remote triage of visits and completing field visits throughout the shift. The role serves as key backup for call-outs and PTO, triaging patient needs and completing field visits. Shift options include evening, late night, and overnight hours, with visits focused on urgent needs, symptom management, and patient support. As an RN utilizing AI-powered documentation tools, the primary focus will be on delivering compassionate care while using innovative technology to support clinical documentation. This role allows for efficient and accurate documentation of key patient details, such as vitals and pain levels, leading to more hands-on patient care, reduced documentation burden, and improved work-life balance.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Minimum of one (1) year nursing practice or equivalent experience required.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state(s) of employment required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments and monitor health status.
• Use AI tools to streamline documentation for better focus on hands-on care.
• Ensure compliance with care plans and regulatory standards.
• Triage patient needs and complete field visits throughout the shift.
• Serve as key backup for call-outs and PTO.
