Afterhours Hospice Registered Nurse
About The Position
Compassus is seeking a Registered Nurse for an After-Hours role supporting a growing service line, providing flexible coverage between 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM. In this role, you will be triaging visits remotely in addition to completing field visits throughout the shift. This position serves as key backup for call-outs and PTO, triaging patient needs and completing field visits throughout the shift. Shift options include evening, late night, and overnight hours, with visits focused on urgent needs, symptom management, and patient support. As an RN utilizing AI-powered documentation tools, your primary focus will be on delivering compassionate care while using innovative technology to support clinical documentation. This role allows you to document key patient details, like vitals and pain levels, efficiently and accurately. This position offers patient-centered care, reduced documentation burden through AI-supported tools, work-life balance by cutting down on after-hours documentation, and enhanced efficiency through technology-driven workflows that simplify compliance with care standards.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing practice or equivalent experience required.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in state(s) of employment required.
- Current CPR certification required.
