Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health Nights
About The Position
Inova Behavioral Health Services at Inova Loudoun Hospital Cornwall Campus is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for its inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare services. The RN provides knowledgeable, caring clinical practice and coordinates care through an understanding of patients, families, nurses, and healthcare delivery teams. The role delivers safe, therapeutic, holistic, and systematic care in a patient- and family-centered manner, incorporating individual differences and providing education throughout the continuum of care. The nurse communicates effectively, cooperates respectfully with other clinical disciplines, and determines care-delivery processes through direct communication with patients and families, technology, and collaboration with healthcare team members. This is a full-time night-shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and rotating weekends. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified external applicants.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- BSN or ADN; ADN-prepared nurses must complete a BSN within 5 years of the start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse license and eligibility to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- English proficiency and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate a caring demeanor.
- Proficient computer skills.
