Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health Nights
About The Position
Inova Behavioral Health Services at Inova Loudoun Hospital Cornwall Campus is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse for its behavioral health team. The RN provides knowledgeable, caring clinical practice and care coordination by understanding patients, families, nurses, and healthcare delivery teams. The role provides safe, therapeutic, holistic, systematic, and patient- and family-centered care, incorporating individual differences and supporting patients and families throughout the continuum of care, including through education. The RN communicates effectively, collaborates respectfully with other clinical disciplines, and determines care-delivery processes through direct communication with patients and families, technology, and collaboration with healthcare team members. This is a full-time night-shift role with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and rotating weekends. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified external applicants.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- BSN or ADN; ADN graduates must complete a BSN within 5 years of their start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse license and eligibility to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Proficiency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
- Proficient computer skills.
