About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients while upholding professional standards. The role carries out physician and nursing orders and implements and evaluates personalized patient care plans to support coordinated care. The nurse monitors patient progress, documents findings, and communicates critical updates to the multidisciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse coordinates care across disciplines, advocates for patients, assesses discharge needs, and helps ensure safe transitions of care. This is a full-time, day-shift position in the Cardiology Clinic at Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group Cardiology in Pensacola, Florida.

Requirements

• Hold a Registered Nurse credential from the Florida Board of Nursing before the hire or job transfer date, or hold a current home-state license recognized under the multistate Compact; licensure must be valid for the state of work.
• Obtain one of the following within 30 days of hire or job transfer: BLS Provider certification, or Basic Life Support Instructor certification. American Heart Association or American Red Cross credentials are accepted.
• Have a diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or hold the required professional licensure at the time of hire.
