About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, working 36 hours per week. The nurse is required to work every third weekend and meet holiday requirements. The applicant may be cross-trained to other departments within the facility. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services and is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under current standards of nursing practice.
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position.
• ACLS certification required within six months of transition or hire.
• PALS certification required within one year of transition or hire.
• Hazmat training required.
• Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Previous critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• TNCC certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department.
• Work every third weekend and meet holiday requirements.
• May be cross-trained to other departments within the facility.
• Maintain all required qualifications for the assigned area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
